Devotees who wish to have the darshan of the poojas should reach the temple premises at about 9.30 a.m. The temple will be closed at 11.30 a.m. on ordinary days and the prasadam will be distributed to the devotees just before the closing, as to one member from each family.

Those who receive kavunginpookkula (garland made of areca flowers) as prasadam from the temple should take extreme care not to taint it with any act or touch of impurity. So it is better to keep it at some higher spots inside the home. It is auspicious if it is kept until it withers naturally. After dried up on its own, it is better to leave it inside the well or in a flowing water body.
